Alliance for Innovation and Infrastructure Taps former Obama Administration Official as Executive Director
WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 19, 2017)—The Alliance for Innovation and Infrastructure (Aii) has welcomed Kevin Gluba (@KevinGluba), a veteran political and government relations professional, as its newest Executive Director. His experience in public service, business and politics will be invaluable to Aii as it continues to expand during 2016.
“Aii tirelessly advocates for innovative public policy solutions to meet our nation’s infrastructure challenges,” Gluba said. “and I look forward to leading this non-partisan organization as we continue to be a thought leader on this important topic.”

Gluba previously served in leadership roles in the Administration of President Barack Obama at the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration. As a Senior Advisor, he focused on trade and investment policy, the National Export Initiative, and the SelectUSA program.
The Iowa native began his political career as a Campaign Manager for his father’s campaigns for U.S. House (IA-1) and Mayor of Davenport—Iowa’s 3rd largest city–before working in 7 battleground states for the historic 2008 Obama for America Presidential campaign. Gluba left public service in 2014 to start a boutique government relations consulting firm, Gluba & Associates, working closely with U.S. cities, manufacturers, and economic development organizations.
Former Executive Director Shane Skelton (@ShaneSkelton)—who led Aii through its initial launch—will stay on as Policy Advisor.
