John Cassibry
Media Coordinator
John Cassibry currently serves as the Media Coordinator for Aii where he oversees all aspects of Aii’s public presence. John works to develop and implement creative initiatives to communicate with casual learners, media, elected officials, and industry leaders on topics that range from infrastructure and technology deficiencies to current and pending legislation.
John holds years of experience in the field of marketing and communications, from positions with Prisma Health Hospital in South Carolina to the Live Production staff at the University of South Carolina, among other experiences. He has a passion for finding innovative ways to reach targeted audiences across multiple platforms and staying on top of the communication industry’s ever-changing nature.
From philanthropic organizations to community-building initiatives, John has spent most of his life dedicated to public service. Most notably, John was part of Dance Marathon at the University of South Carolina, the largest student-led philanthropic organization in the state of South Carolina that raises money to fully fund the Child Life program at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital. For two years, John was an integral part of communicating the organization’s message to the campus and community it serves.
A Bethesda, Maryland native, John spent his younger days cheering on the Washington, D.C sports franchises and touring all the historical monuments and museums – two passions that have stayed with him through today. John graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and earned Leadership Distinction in professional and civic engagement. He currently resides in Charleston, South Carolina.
