Aii takes industry action and public policy seriously. With a dual focus on innovation in the field and the regulatory frameworks set in Washington, D.C. and state capitols across the country, Aii is working to make the nation’s infrastructure safer, more efficient, and resilient.
As the only nationwide public policy think tank dedicated to infrastructure, Aii is a nonpartisan, independent catalyst for improving our nation’s critical systems and structures. Our work aims to:
- Develop and publish objective, data-driven research and educational resources Identify and educate to remove unnecessary industry barriers and complexity
- Push back against counterproductive rhetoric and inaccuracies by activist organizations and partisans on all sides
- Provide credible, independent advocacy of performance objectives in public policy
- Proactively work to accelerate and optimize the development of innovative technology in the private sector to promote infrastructure safety, efficiency, and resilience
- Serve as an independent resources for both private and public sectors, providing system-wide insight to identify cross-sector vulnerabilities and opportunities
