Washington, D.C, Feb. 18, 2021 — The Alliance for Innovation and Infrastructure (Aii), today, joins the American Flood Coalition, in order to advance both organizations’ missions of promoting resilient infrastructure.
“The future infrastructure challenges we are facing are bigger than any single organization can tackle on its own,” said Benjamin Dierker, Aii’s Director of Public Policy. “Coalitions like this are essential for combining resources and collaborating to ensure our most innovative solutions rise to the top.”
Aii will join the American Flood Coalition as its 264th member since the coalition’s 2018 origin. Aii is among 25 other civic and educational organizations in the coalition nationwide.
The American Flood Coalition is the fifth partnership for Aii since its founding. As leaders in the study of infrastructure, Aii constantly seeks nonpartisan coalitions of problem solvers. Previous Aii work discussing flood infrastructure will add great value to the American Flood Coalition, and Aii looks forward to collaborating with coalition members on future impactful and resilient infrastructure solutions.
