Policy Fellow

Ildi Telegrafi is an energy industry expert, educator, and leader. He bridges engineering, operations, economics, and policy towards enabling the Clean Energy equilibrium of the future. Ildi holds a bachelors of science in mechanical engineering, and masters of science in electrical engineering, having published with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Ildi describes the energy industry balance as a stool with three legs: engineering, operations, and economics. Reestablishing equilibrium after one leg changes require modification of the other two. Policy acts as the the ring that holds all legs together. To sit on the metaphorical stool, the industry must agree to a new equilibrium.

Ildi strives to enable Energy Storage System (ESS) penetration – a catalyst for a clean energy expansion – by educating on its necessity in the dynamic, its ROI to Prosumers, and benefit to advancing the industry dynamic. Ildi applies industry knowledge at ConEdison to forecast the future of energy, and teaches industry knowledge at Manhattan University to pass onto the next generation.
